Hi there! Thanks for hopping over to my blog. It's the place where I write about my life and faith and hope to encourage others in this crazy journey we call life.
A little more about me. I was born about thirty two years ago. I grew up in a small town in PA. Eventually I moved to the "big city", comparatively speaking. I met my husband shortly after moving here in 2004 and we got married in 2006.
After college experience and some working experience with kids at daycare, etc, well, I've had my house become the day care! Our children are currently 15 months, two and a three quarters, and four and a half. It's actually calm compared to taking care of six two year olds, though we do have our own moments of complete chaos now and then. (If you wonder how I have time to blog at all it's because they are all sleeping right now. Or so I'm telling myself, even though I think I hear the eldest playing.)
Above all, I've gone from having a child's faith, to being a big doubter, to a believer in God and all I do is for Him.
So yeah, that's my life in a (very small) nutshell. You can also check out my more personal blog here. Scratch that-there isn't anything there any more except one post where my son throws a fit. But if you really feel the need to see that go right ahead.
Here is how I answered why do you blog on someone elses blog...
"Why do you blog? "I started a blog on our family web space just over two years ago. Our son was then born with a heart defect and it took over as a way to keep people up to date on his medical status. All is well with him now and it became just a fun thing for me to do. Over time I shared more about faith and now I have opened up a more public blog as I feel like God is calling me to share my writing about what I have learned about Him through the process."-Did I actually just get to quote myself?
I named this blog Open Minds and Open Hearts because I want you all to have those as you read. Keep an open mind when reading, as things I write may be different than the way you think of things. I don't have all the answers yet. I just know the One who does. Be open to receive the message that God may be trying to give you.
And I'm open to positive and negative feedback. Just please try to put it kindly, don't hit me over the head with it. Differing opinions are welcome. I am still learning too! Just please share them respectfully. I won't hit you with a Bible and you don't hit me with rudeness and we will all get along just fine...
