To all those who are coming back over here from the Free Jinger web site I again apologize for writing this : http://openmindsandopenhearts.blogspot.com/2011/05/but-you-cant-make-them-drink-koolaid.html It was wrong of me. I was angry and I generalized. I later apologized for it (stupid post got deleted by blogger when they changed things that day, but someone commented on it that it stopped them from writing their own nasty one about you) and did so in the comments as well. You may all think I am a big joke but I am not. I truly do want to dialogue with you.
For the rest of you-where did this coming from? Reading unChristian...More to come!

What do you want to dialogue about with FJ?
I didn't necessarily come to dialogue with FJ, just to apologize, I am just open to dialogue if anyone wants to. I don't know how much I'll be able to do here or there, seeing as I was planning a new schedule cutting back on computer time, but if anyone does have a genuine question or comment e-mail may be the best way to reach me.
That's odd, because you specifically came over to FJ (no-one came here first) and you said "let's try to open up a more honest dialogue. I am willing to answer any questiomns (sic) any of you have at any time."
Most people choose a blog title that reflects their own interests or personality - but your blog title seems to have been so named because you expect your commenters to have the open minds: You say: I named this blog Open Minds and Open Hearts because I want you all to have those as you read. Keep an open mind when reading, as things I write may be different than the way you think of things. Have an open heart to receive the message that God may be trying to give you.
Do you think God is speaking through you as you write this blog?
How open are your mind and heart to thinking about other's viewpoints when you dialogue with them here?
To the first comment I guess I didn't know if anyone would be open to dialogue. It seems like some of you might but you all post a lot of other things in the same thread as well and it will be hard for me to keep up with that pace. Like I said, the best way for me to do so would probably be e-mail.
To the second comment, I do believe that God speaks through people to reveal Himself (albeit the mean nasty post I wrote was not one of those. Should NOT blog when still angry...ahem). I have learned things from other Christians and know others have learned things from me. God doesn't just send down lighting bolts from the sky and say "Here is what I want you to know about me." I think He uses us all to teach each other. Blogs like this help people think of things in a way they might not have before. I welcome others opinions even if I might now agree with them. You are all helping me learn how to not come across as judgementally...I am about to go write more about that now in a new post...if I can stay awake that long!
I've never heard of Free Jinger...and I'm pretty sure I don't want to go there based on the comments that "Anonymous" (presumably from Free Jinger) keeps leaving on your posts. I sure don't know the larger issue - again, I've never heard of FJ and have never been there - but it seems to me, if someone wants to leave criticism of someone else on that person's blog, the least they could do is say who they really are.
Hugs, Amy.
